The Canadian Learning Conference is a non-profit event organized and run by a dedicated group of volunteers who share a passion for Learning design and technology.
Our conference plays a vital part in the continued growth and development of the Canadian learning community. It takes place over two days, each filled with numerous workshops, concurrent sessions and time provided to connect with conference attendees and sponsors.
We Changed Our Name - Here’s Why
For 15 years, the Canadian eLearning Conference has been a trusted gathering place for learning and development professionals to connect, share ideas, and explore the future of adult learning. As our community has grown, so has the scope of the conversations taking place at our conference.
Today, learning professionals are shaping experiences that extend far beyond traditional eLearning. They are leveraging learning technologies, advancing accessibility and inclusivity, embracing AI, supporting leadership development, driving performance, measuring impact, and creating innovative learning experiences that help people and organizations thrive.
To better reflect the breadth of our community and the diverse topics that inspire it, the Canadian eLearning Conference is now the Canadian Learning Conference.
Our new name represents who we are today and where the profession is headed. While eLearning remains a valued part of our history and program, the Canadian Learning Conference creates space for a wider range of perspectives, practices, and conversations that support adult learning and performance in today's workplace.
What hasn't changed is our commitment to you. At the Canadian Learning Conference, learning and development professionals from across Canada and beyond can expect:
-
Fresh perspectives on learning and development
-
Practical ideas and strategic insights you can immediately apply in your work
-
New technologies, innovative solutions, and emerging trends
-

This is more than a new name. It's the next chapter in our journey, reflecting the evolution of our profession and the vibrant community that has helped shape it.
